Kano governor’s SA, director give out daughters in marriage By NASIRU MUHD. ALL roads last Saturday led to Hotoro and Zango quarters as the Special Assistant to the Kano state Governor, on Politics, Alhaji Ali Datti and Alhaji Ali Auwalu, director, Special Services Kano Government House gave out their daughters in marriage. Giving out the brides in marriage, the state governor, Malam (Dr.) Ibrahim Shekarau, gave out Amina and Zainab Ali Datti to their grooms Auwalu Kofar Wambai and Badawi Waziri Gidado, respectively at a of N20,000 dowry each. While at Zango quarters, Malam Shekarau gave out Hassana Ali Auwalu to Nasiru, upon payment of dowry of N20,000. Governor Shekarau prayed God to grant the couples fruitful marriage life. Personalities who were at the occasion included, the state commissioner of police, Alhaji Ibrahim Mamman Tsafe; the state chairman of ANPP, Alhaji Sani Hashim Hotoro; the Managing Director of knupda, Alhaji Hassan Na`Abba; top government functionaries and members of the general public.
