Emir Bayero lauds KPCC

THE Emir of Kano, Alhaji (Dr.) Ado Bayero, has commended Kano People’s Consultative Council (KPCC) for its commitment towards the development of the state and the nation.
Alhaji Bayero made the commendation while receiving a delegation of the council led by its chairman, Prof. Ibrahim Halil Umar, at the palace on a courtesy call.
The emir assured of his readiness to support any move that will enhance the development of the nation, especially the efforts by KPCC to ensure the progress of the state.
He said he is aware of the activities of the KPCC in this regard, saying the door is open for the council to seek for any meaningful advice and support from the Kano Emirate Council.
Alhaji Bayero further expressed the hope that KPCC’s efforts will be of immense benefit to the society generally.
Earlier speaking, the chairman of the council, Prof. Ibrahim H. Umar had said they were at the palace to intimate the emir about the KPCC’s activities, especially in assessing and promoting the progress of Kano and how to alleviate its problems.
He solicited the Emirate Council’s aid in the mobilization of district, village and ward heads in the registration of births and deaths for the benefit of Kano people.
He then commended the Emir over his contribution to humanity.
In another development, the emir of Kano, Alhaji (Dr.) Ado Bayero, has turbaned the Village Head of Kwarkiya in Minjibir local government area of Kano state, Malam Gambo Abdullahi, and ordered him to discharge his duties diligently.
