Miyyeti Allah canvasses support for cattle breeders
By FATIMA M. ABUBAKAR
THE secretary of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria, Kano state chapter, Alhaji Ali Muhammad Rimin Dako has said that Fulani across the state are in need of improved welfare services.
Speaking in an interview with Daily Triumph in his office, the Association’s scribe stated that the assistance needed from the state government is to train nomads in modern techniques of cattle breeding, saying that the objective can be achieved through the establishment of training centres and organizing workshops.
He, however, stated that the establishment of the Nomads Farmers Forum at the state and local government levels would serve as an avenue for maintaining cordial relationship between cattle rearers and farmers in the state in particular and the country at large.
According to him, there are existing avenues for educating the Fulani on how to understand each other, stressing that there is nothing worth doing than to live in peace and harmony with one-another.
