Speaking during the presentation of the awards to the beneficiaries, the Rector of the institute, Alhaji Sulaiman Alyiu said, the school was the first of its kind, established in 1989.
He said the management has agreed to disburse the sum of N680,000 including certificates and world clocks as motivation.
The Rector stated that in order to complement the Kaduna state government’s effort in providing information communication technology it has provided 271 Laptop computers to its staff as loan to be paid in two years.
He retreated its commitment in the provision of additional engineering facilities and working staff as required by the Board of Technical Education (NBTE) for the success of its courses.
Alhaji Sulaiman said through the intervention of the Education Trust Fund (ETF), the development of the institute has greatly improved.
Alhaji Balarabe, therefore, expressed happiness for considering the polytechnic to run the HND causes in most of its department and called on the awardees to reciprocate the gesture by reticulating to themselves their responsibilities.
