PDP summons Dakingari, Wamakko, chairmen
The PDP North-West Zone says it has summoned two governors and state chairmen with a view to settling all ripples rocking the party in the various zones ahead of the 2011 election.
Dr. Danladi Sankara, the North-West Zonal Chairman of the party, disclosed this to newsmen in Kaduna on Monday after a zonal meeting.
Sankara said that the party summoned Governors Sa'idu Dakingari of Kebbi and Aliyu Wamakko of Sokoto states.
He said that all state chairmen of the party from within the zone had also been invited to appear next week.
``The North West zone of the party is very sensitive to the stability of the PDP because of its size and number of elected representatives that it has produced,'' he said.
Sankara, however, declined comments on the issues discussed at the zonal meeting, saying:``they are not meant for public consumption''.
