Red Cross society conducts inter-camp in Niger

Nigeria Red Cross Society in collaboration with federal ministry of youth development with support from Niger state government, has conducted the 10th Annual International Youth Camp for about 350 youths at the Federal Government College, Minna, Niger state.
Speaking during the closing ceremony, the camp commandant, Mr. Sola Bayo Solarin Esq told our correspondent that the theme of this year is "Empowering Youth Towards an Environmental Friendly" and the aims and objective of the camp is to bring all the youth together so as to learn from each other as well as to develop a good relationship.
Mr. Solarin said, the participants were drawn from all states of federation as well as from outside the country like Namibia and appealed to the government to give its support to society.
In his remarks, the Secretary Nigerian Red Cross Society Niger State Branch, Malam Yahaya Abdullahi Muhammad thanked Allah (SWT) for successfully conducting the exercise in the state without problem.
Malam Yahaya expressed appreciation to the federal ministry of youth development and Niger state government for all the support given to the society particularly, the state chairman, Engr Sani Ndanusa.
He thanked all the organizers and participants for the cooperation and urged all the participants to keep to all what they have learn and put them into practice.
Commenting on the activities of the camp, Veuna una Jeomba from Namibia, Kelechi Njoke from Imo state all commended the organizers for the kind gesture and promised to transform all they have learnt at the camp.
