Registration exercise: Jalla happy with Fagge PDP members

MEMBERS of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in Fagge local government area of Kano state, are displaying deep sense of commitment, zeal and cooperation at the on-going registration exercise of the party members.
This was disclosed during an exclusive interview with our reporter, by the local government party chairman Abdullahi Alhassan Jalla yesterday.
``I am assuring all that the registration exercise is going on smoothly in all wards. Every party member is free to come and register. There is no intenion to segregate,’’ Jalla said.
He said registration began on Wednesday and only the duo of party chairman and secretary were allowed to collect registration booklets as such there was no room for diverting the materials.
Jalla said a period of two weeks was slated for the exercise and expressed optimism that membes would turn out en masse before the expiration of the period.
He then appealed to all party members in Kano state to continue with the support and cooperation they were giving the party so that a credible election could hold in the state.
The chairman who expressed satisfaction with the manner party elders were conducting the issue, showered encomum especially on Dr. Rabi`u Musa Kwankwaso ``whose untiring support had seen the party scale through many obstacles.
In his remark, a caucus member, Ali Abubakar Kamba enjoined all party members to remain law abiding as the law won’t deal lighthly with any person or group of persons found to be formenting trouble.
