He said a six-member committee constituted by the government received a donation of N3 million from the government and individuals for the victims in the first phase of relief mobilisation for the victims.
He said more donations were expected from the local governments of the state.
The commissioner said the money was used to buy 100 bags of rice, 400 bundles of clothes and wrappers for victims.
``Fifty five bags of millet, 34 bags of guinea corn, 12 bags of maize, four bags of beans, three bags of rice and soup ingredients were received as donations from individuals,'' he added.
